Phantom Tollbooth

Phantom Tollbooth has become one of my favorite books. Northon Juster has become one of my favorite authors. I love how he plays with words. He is a very creative man and his work is very good. The way he named his characters is very nice. I also love how he tryed to make his book funny. I hope I can read other books of his.

I recently read The Phantom Tollbooth
I really did like it.It was a very good book.Most people read it and most people didn't but for the people who did not read it.It is about a boy named Milo and at first he is very lathargic but then this tollbooth appeared and he goes to a place were it is very litteral and very bright he learns manny things and has to acomplish somthing he wanted to do.To bring back Ryme and Reason so he did and now he is kind of like a legend.When he goes back home he wants more adventure but unfortunatly other kids need to use it.I recamend this book to people who actually mean what they say and knows some inside jokes lol.

The Phantom Tollbooth is about a boy named Milo who was bored everyday. Then one day after school when he comes home he sees a colorful box, he opens it and a tollbooth appeared. Milo drives a car and goes to a magical land where everything was literal. Milo meets Tock, a watchdog, and moves on with his journey. He learns new things, meets new people, and decides to go save Rhyme and Reason, the princesses of the kingdom of Wisdom.

Overall I think the book was amazing. Northon Juster used a lot of word play and the way he named his characters was very creative. I for one couldn't have done something as brilliant as this. Northon Juster has become one of my favorite authors and i'm hopping that I can read other books from him.

This place called the Phantom Tollbooth is a place where you can learn things that you never learned before like math and diffrent words. In thi s book Milo, Tock and the Humbug is trying to bring Rhyme and Reason. Rhyme and Reason are the girls who sloved all problems.

This book was very interesting and it had a lot of word play. I liked this book because it was different than any other books i have read. My favorite character was the watchdog because he is smart. I liked the ending the most because the princesses came back and the 2 kings was together again.

Phantom Tollbooth is an educational and humorous book. It has word plays and has many lessons for kids. I think that this book makes you think a lot and can be very interesting. This book is about a boy name Milo and he goes to another world. This world teaches Milo many things and changes his personality. Milo meets new friends such as Tock, The Humbug, and more. He was a letharigian but, he became more adventerous by going on a mission to bring back Rhyme and Reason. He realizes that there's more to life and that he has a lot of things to discover in the real world.

I didn't like readng this book. It wasn't that interesting. Even though my classmates enjoyed it, it doesn't mean that i have to too. Finally I finished the book though because I had another book that im in the midde of.

When Milo finds a giant box in is living room after he comes home from school he pulls a string and the box opens out box a small car and a tollbooth he then hears a strange voice and it tells him to get and the car and go troug the tollbooth when he goes through the tollbooth he then figures out that the world he's in now is not the world he is ued to seeing.

This book is about a boy named Milo. He was a very lethargic boy, he went home and saw a Tollbooth. He then went to the tollboth and wen to Lands beyond. In this adventure it shows how Milo changed and stay the same.He is trying to make two kings and they are brothers to be brothers again because one says that words are more important than numbers and the other says that numbers are more important than words.He had assistance from a dog named tock and a bug named Humbug. They went to the castle in the air to save Rhyme and Reason . When they came back they got congratulated by both kings and the two kings became brothers again. they made a new holiday because of it. Milo didn't want to go home, but did.

The Phantom Tollbooth was a very magical book, many magical things happened in this book that might not happen in an ordinary magic book! Who has ever heard of the "Word Market"?

This book is very magical but at the same time it's educational. It is trying to show that reading and math are both very important and them both are equal in importance! This book was awesome and at some parts boring but isn't every book? Even though it

might have some boring parts it's still very informational and I recommend this book to everyone!

The Phantom Tollbooth is a magnificent book. It talks about sounds,words,numbers,and color.There is a boy named Milo that goes on an unexpected adventure that changes the way he sees life. The pictures and words may not pop of the page, but it is what the text says that counts. There are puns,idioms,figurative writing used as literal writing,and names of characters that relate to who they are. I recommend it to someone who loves ELA. A person that is amazed with all the possibilities of creative writing. I give the book 5 out of 5 stars. There may be some critics out there that find all the little things to say bad about this book, they're just haters. They probably envy Norton Juster because he can create and imagine things no one else has and see everything differently then anyone else.

The phantom tollbooth is a great book about a boy named Milo who finds a tollbooth in his house and goes on a adventure when he goes through. He faces many challenges and the strangest of people. This book is one of the best book I've read. I first read it when i was 8 or 9. I still like it and I like ow they name the characters.

In the book The Phantom TollBooth it's about an normal child who hated school and thought it was boring,but one afternoon Milo found something strange in his apartment. It was a TollBooth
and it had a map that showed where he could go.Milo chose a place and it end up in a strange place where everything was different.Milo was now on an adventure.Milo went to many places that he somewhat enjoyed him self and he learned from it.Milo learned
numbers,words,sounds,and sights.During the ending Milo changed from being a boring kid who hated school into a kid who enjoy school.

My favorite part of his book was the beginning where Milo met the Whether Man.This book has a lot of creative writings in it like the he spelling bee, it's a bee that can spell almost any word. The lesson in this book is "there is more to life than people think". I recommend this book to anyone so they can follow the journey of Milo

The Phantom Tollbooth is a really good book for teahers to have there students read. It's about a boy named Milo who was so lethargic found a tollbooth in his room and decided to go in it because he didn't care. As in the tolbooth he went on an adventure to save the two Princesses and Faintly Macabre. During the book you need to see the different types of creative language and how the main character in the story changes from a lethargic person to an understanding person.

So Milo went to in to the tollbooth finding many unusual people and places. He soon found a dog name Tock. They both had many found time and in the end Milo found every thing to be fun. Many things change for Milo when he enter the tollbooth.
